This is the first Chessino tournament for clubs and ordinary chess players. We are offering spots to active chess clubs to participate in the event and test our tournament structure and technology. There will be more tournaments to follow.
BEFORE APPLYING PLEASE READ THE SELECTION CRITERIA
To give your club the best chance of securing a spot, please read the following:
- We are offering a limited number of spots to chess clubs from around the world.
- ALL PARTICIPATING CLUBS WILL WIN MONEY AND OTHER BENEFITS.
- Even teams knocked out in the first round will receive between $100 and $700 depending on how teams play and support the event.
- Individual players can personally win up to $200.
- Clubs must have at least 4 club members. Having more members is seen positively by the club selection panel.
- This a free to play, free to enter tournament, paid for by sponsors. No team or individuals can lose money. Chessino blends luck and skill but skill is the most important factor.
- All players should be 16 or older to play.
- In the event that we are over-subscribed, the selection panel is looking for clubs with committed Chessino players. Therefore, clubs with individuals who play regularly in the run up to the tournament and are mastering the game, are more likely to be offered a place.
- It’s fun and it’s free. Participating teams get the chance to experience a new chess derivative, test their skills against other clubs from around the world, and win cash prizes!
